We are hiring!

Jacob Lund Photography specialises in the production of premium lifestyle photography. We strive to challenge the way we shoot as well as the themes and environments we create our content in. Our main focus is to capture top of the line content that is relevant in our present world and is adapted to consistently meet online trends and the demand of our buyers. We do most of our productions in-house and license the content for stock libraries. Besides that we do a few bespoke shoots for clients every year.

Freelance retoucher to work with us remotely or in Cape Town


Position: Retoucher
Location: Gardens, Cape Town / Remotely
Hours: Depending on workload - but up to full time.

We are searching for an experienced, passionate and self-motivated retoucher. Preferably you have experience with retouching images for stock library and understand the need for finding a good balance between speed and quality.

How to apply:

  1. Download and retouch the files in the initial retouching test

  2. Save the retouched files (with all layers included) as TIFF files.

  3. Save your retouched files in a ZIP. Name it yourfullname.zip

Freelance RAW-developer


Position: RAW-developer
Location: Gardens, Cape Town / Remotely
Hours: Part-time / Full-time

We are searching for an experienced, passionate and self-motivated developer. You have experience with color grading images for commercial use and you have knowledge of working with software like Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop, Bridge, and Lightroom Classic).

How to apply:

  1. Download and develop the files in the initial color grading test.

    1. We are going for a nice and clean commercial look. Look at images on jacoblund.com to get a good sense of how we usually grade our RAW files. Try to find a good look that suits the theme and the feeling of each file. You are welcome to make more than one version, but if you do so please prioritise them as which you prefer the most by filenaming 1, 2, 3 after the original file name.

    2. The aim is to push the files to their best potential before sending it to retouching.

  2. Save the color graded files as a JPEG + export CR2 files with an XMP sidecar file.

    1. JPEGS must be saved in a folder named JPEGS

    2. CR2 + XMP files must be saved in a folder named RAW

  3. Save your folders in a ZIP. Name it yourfullname.zip

  4. Upload the color grading test via this link.
